Day 1: Camel trekking in Merzouga.

This 2-day tour is ideal for those seeking a quick yet fulfilling desert adventure from Marrakech, offering a combination of cultural exploration, stunning landscapes, and an immersive desert experience.

Day 2: Marrakech- high atlas – Ouarzazate- Dades valley- Merzouga Desert

We pick you up at 6 a.m. and start our “Marrakech Camel tours “over the Tizi n’Tichka path while enjoying fantastic views of the High Atlas Mountains and the Berber Villages. Stop for lunch in Ouarzazate and continue towards the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley. We will ride through the palm groves of Skoura and the “One Thousand Kasbahs” road, where you can appreciate 17th-century kasbahs. We reach the Merzouga desert late in the afternoon. There you will take a camel ride to get to the heart of the desert and also be able to admire the beautiful sunset. You will have a delicious Berber dinner and spend the night in a nomad tent under a beautiful sky studded with stars.

Arriving in the desert and taking a camel ride to watch the sunset was one of the most peaceful moments I’ve ever experienced. The next morning’s sunrise over the dunes was equally stunning, and I loved walking on the soft sand. The return journey through the Draa Valley was scenic, and our guide made sure we had plenty of photo opportunities. The only reason I’m giving this tour four stars instead of five is that lunch wasn’t included, and we had to find our own places to eat. However, the overall experience was amazing, and I would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers!
