3 Days Desert Tour From Fes to Merzouga

3-day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the Sahara Desert and experience the unique culture of Morocco. Here’s a sample itinerary for this type of tour:

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga.

At 8:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Fes and start our tour. Ifrane, often known as the “Switzerland” of Morocco, is where you’ll stop to take in the scenery and take some priceless images. You will next proceed to the “cedar forest” in Azrou to witness the monkeys.going on to Midelt to a restaurant for lunch. Following that, we will go across the “Tizi N Talghamt” pass before arriving in Errachidia and stopping in the gorges of the Ziz valley. The journey to Erg Chebbi Dunes continues by Erfoud, which is known for its fossil and date deposits. Here, you might like to stop at a nearby workshop that makes fossil crafts. You will next proceed to the fascinating Merzouga Dunes, which are located in Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival, spend the night and have breakfast and supper at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Merzouga area – Cemel Trekking- Camp.

You will begin an exploration of the area after breakfast in your riad, followed by a camel trip and an overnight stay in a desert camp. You will go visiting the Gnawa people today to witness their music and way of life. The Gnawa were originally brought here as slaves from Sudan. The lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations, is nearby. Visit the nomad wire house as well, where many Berber handicrafts are more affordable than those in the major towns. You will saddle your camel in the afternoon and be led by an expert camel guy as you explore the Merzouga sea of golden sand. Dinner served outside the tent where you’ll spend the night. (There are flush toilets in the camp).

Day 3: Merzouga – Midelt – Azrou forest – Ifrane – Fez.

A beautiful sunrise may be seen when perched high up on a dune in the Sahara Desert, so get up early to see this once-in-a-lifetime achievement.Shortly after, we take a camel back to the hotel where we have breakfast and take a shower before leaving the desert. We cross the Ziz valley and go to Fes City by the Tizi Talghomt (1907 m) Middle Atlas Mountains Pass through Azrou and Midelt. If time allows, we could make a quick stop at the national forest close to Azrou to observe the local monkeys. The trip comes to a conclusion when we deliver you to your lodging; everything is included in the cost.
We’ve completed our services; we appreciate your trust.
